Fulfillment inbound shipments

Overview

How to send seller stock to the marketplace warehouse (Full, FBA).

A fulfillment inbound shipment moves stock from the seller warehouse to the marketplace warehouse (Full, FBA and similar). It has items with quantity and receivedQuantity, a destination and a status. Without it, the units you sent would still count as available in the local warehouse.

Where it fits in the journey: Stay in sync.

States

draft → submitted → scheduled → in_transit → receiving → received. Before in_transit, it can become cancelled.

Stock

  1. Create: reserves the quantity in the source warehouse.
  2. in_transit: the item leaves the warehouse, with the fulfillment_transfer movement (lowers reserved and onHand).
  3. received: shows up as an observation of the fulfillment location, not as your balance.

A failed submit leaves the shipment in draft, with statusReasons. A PATCH resends it.
